Challenges VS Rewards

remember thinking back before I first started at Shekinah Bible, How am I going to handle all this? Raising 3 small children, working full time, family and ministry at my church keeps me really busy. I knew this was something I wanted to do that I felt was necessary, but I didn't know how I would do it. I gave it a try and GOD proved to me quickly how HE makes all things possible. The scripture tells us in Mark 10:27, When men it is impossible, with GOD all things are possible. At the start of school, I was so excited about all classes being 100% online. Courses and class material is easy enough to grasp, yet enough to take your understanding to the next level. Challenges I faced was the thought of tech issues and navigating the system. I learned although we were not physically there, no matter what tech issues we face, the support team at SBTI is always available to assist you. Personally, being an out of state student, online courses is a great convenience for me and gave me much ease in my 1st year of school. Although I was not physically there with most of my peers, I always felt connected. I remember when Dr. Riley and I had a conversation years ago about the school and HOLYSPIRIT spoke to me and confirmed this was HIS will. For years I have had a desire to deeper my understanding of the Bible on a deeper level and SBTI was the door that was purposed for me to walk in. Shekinah Bible is a Holy Spirit led School, therefore relying on the power and strength of Holy Spirit is the source to excelling in this school. As mentioned in the Student Development Handout, our goal is to aim for success, not stress.

Since the beginning my heart's desire was to be more learned in the Word of GOD. I wanted to gain more effective tools that would be impactful in ministry. It literally seemed as if Abba sped up the time for me these past semesters. It feels surreal that I am now walking into what I've always wanted. I can testify that I am now seeing the Word of GOD come to pass like never before in my life. I can testify that the evidence of HIS will in my life is me now walking into my 3rd year and going into my degree track at Shekinah Bible. For me, the most rewarding part of my bible school learning experience so far has been to witness the growth I have seen within myself from year 1 until now. School wasn't always a walk in the park for us, especially the 2nd year, but we pressed through and I'm beyond proud of myself and all of my peers for staying the course and for not giving up. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that if we wait upon the LORD, He will renew our strength and that is just what He did. I'm so grateful that I walked in faith and allowed HOLYSPIRIT to order my steps. The sweetest part about it is I have gained friends and sisters in CHRIST along the way. GOD makes no mistakes for sure and I am forever grateful for this opportunity. I would like to give a special thanks to DR. Riley for obeying HOLYSPIRIT for walking in faith to start this school. Her teachings and lessons have opened the eyes of my understanding to another level. Through this school I was able to not only learn so many new things, but GOD revealed to me my purpose and identity in the Body of Christ. Shekinah Bible has impacted my life and the lives of so many across the world.

Star great post. It is challenging when you have many questions and no answers...but God. I recall questioning how I would go to seminary school while juggling parenting 4 small children, work, ministry and whatever else came along. Again...but God. It is so beautiful how He purposely orchestrates things to work out so smoothly. As you said with men it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Looks like we both looked at the situation and questioned how but God was looking at the solution all along. Praise God! I am also an out of state student and I too appreciate being able to attend online. It is most rewarding to me also that I gained friends and sisters also and have the opportunity to grow in the Lord with you all in the best bible school ever.
