COURSE 21 - MINISTRY GIFT OF PROPHET » Moses

Kiah Gilmore
The story of Moses. Moses faced many challenges. He was born under a death sentence and navigated life under two identities. He went from having a life surrounded by royalty to being surrounded by pasture. In the time he was separated, God was molding him. While on the run, his pride turned to humility and authority to patience. Moses had doubt, like us. Fear, like us. Disqualified himself, even after being qualified by the Great I Am, like us. When God encountered Moses, he introduced him to intimacy.

God gave Moses his name, showed him miraculous signs, and even Aaron to act as a voice for Moses, when Moses wasn't as confident. These simple actions help build an intimate relationship between the two. He became more than just a figure for worship, He became a friend. I find that this intimacy is the most profound characteristic God revealed about Himself. It shows how he wants to have a relationship with us on a much more deeper level. God met him where he was and coached him along the way. Moses ended up interceding for the people of God and confronting leaders boldly. A man once shy of his own voice.
