The Conversion

I would first ask the Holy Spirit how to address this within myself. I would speak only what the Holy Spirit gives me. I would stay respectful and calm towards the person because what you sow you will reap. Gal. 6:7 Don’t be misledâ€you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. I would use wisdom because a wise man wins souls. Proverbs 11:30 Matthew 10:16 Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves. I would stay calm, attentive, and kind, God tells us with love and kindness he has drawn us. The church can only draw people with the love of God. Jerimiah 31:3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you. I believe once the person sees me represent the love, humility, and patience of God it will open up the door to evangelize. The spirit that's at work in this person is pride, rebellion to the word of God, anti-Christ spirit, and the spirit of error,

Yes, Letasha I would truly ask Holy Spirit in everything I do, especially in dealing with other souls and the things of God. We must represent God and his kingdom well. I can see also the demonic spirits of anti-Christ, spirit of error, and also the spirit of pride and rebellion.

Yes! Yes! I loved how you guided us through the thought process and then how you would act upon that.... first, asking the Holy Spirit for guidance, then speaking and moving in what the Holy Spirit led you to say and do. After that, maintaining a sense of calmness wrapped in love. After all it was the love of the father that He sent His only begotten son John 3:16. So, we have to remember, like you said, it is in the way we handle ourselves love during conversations with people who need illumination of the truth! God can then draw that person with the help of the Holy Spirit and fertilize the seeds you /we have sown!

Yes we should lead with love absolutely and Holy Spirit will lead us on what exactly to say Letasha. The drawing of a former Christian is a matter of the heart and believe by them even asking you to share three scriptures that would draw them back is a cry for help. It definitely would not be a cookie cutter response to the person but the we know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever more.
