Kierra Burnett
The true ekklesia (church) will be solely shown by the fruits that we bare. Galatians 5:22â€25 (KJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. With the Holy Spirit and unwavering faith these two things show unity and strength in love for one another. With having unwavering faith the church shows up not in ourselves but of the Lord. When we allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us we are not our own we are doing the work of our Father. 1 Corinthians 12:12â€13 (KJV)
For as the body is one and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Faith is giving full trust to our Father and with full trust we allow him to move through us (his vessel.) For me allowing Holy Spirit to move freely show obedience. The church is not here for show but we are here to be the examples that Chirst has already laid out upon us. Loving our brothers and sisters and continuing to trust that our Father will never fail us. This is what set us apart.
