1-2 FOUNDATIONS OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE » The True Church - Ekklesia

Vanessa Howell
I believe there are implications that the true ekklesia is operating in the world today because there is still a hunger and thirst for the Word of God all over the world. In Matthew 5:6 it says, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. The incorruptible seed called the Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of each of us and stirs something up that we cannot ignore. Their is a drawing near and yearning for the truth of his word. There are teachers of the word who preach and teach it like Peter by tailoring the message to fit the hearers so they can better understand it. In Matthew 7:7 it calls us to ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. The Holy Spirit is drawing us closer to him, leading and guiding us which I believe is the evidence the ekklesia is still present today.

HOLY SPIRIT!! Yes, our father needed us to fully stand and trust in him to do his purpose. So when we fall short or need guidance he steps in to show us our heart. To continue the path that he has planned for us.

This is true, there is still a hunger and a thirst for the word of God and his righteousness. Holy Spirit is our teacher and guide in everything, and Holy spirit knows each of us. It says in 1 Corinthians 2:10, For to us God has revealed them by his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. Holy Spirit lives in us and teaches us all things pertaining to Godliness and Holiness. It is the evidence that true Ekklesia is still present here today in our time.

Ms. Vanessa, thank you for sharing your thoughts. You are on to something when you describe the Holy Spirit. I love how you acknowledge that it cannot be ignored. Even when we do not do what God wants we cannot ignore what He has given us. God has called us out and we must be bold and do the assignment he has given us.
