It is important to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit to interpret scripture because the Holy Spirit reveals, the holy spirit searches all things even the deep things of God (1cor. 2:10)
When the spirit of truth comes he will he will guide you in to all truths. John 16:13, therefore absent of the holy spirit you may just be reading a book with no revelation or interpretation.

Amen I also referenced John 16:13-15 for the simple fact that our Lord Christ made it be known that through our life-union with him we will be filled with his Spirit. The great encourager the great Counselor he is our helper he is our friend he is everything Christ was to his followers. Which was also by the fulfillment of the Holy Ghost, and we now have that same Spirit that Christ had when he walked upon this world filled grace and truth and Holy Spirit is doing the same in the ones who truly believe and follow him amen.Posted 4 hours ago by Jared Howard
