1-2 FOUNDATIONS OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE » The True Church

What are some of the implications of the true ekklesia operating in the world today? The True Church should reflect the Kingdom of God. When functioning as intended, the true ekklesia (Greek meaning called-out ones) reflects the Kingdom of God on earth, Matthew 16:18-19 NIV reads, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. Exercising spiritual authority to bind and loose in alignment with heaven's decrees. This is a transformative authority that challenges the current systems of injustice, moral decay, and secular ideologies by living out and proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom! The implications are both spiritual and structural: the ekklesia becomes a prophetic voice and a redemptive presence in a broken world, interceding (1 Timothy 2:1-4) reads NLT God we pray that you would give them wisdom to lead well, to lead with righteousness, to lead with justice, to lead for the good of those whom they lead. The true church should be discipling nation and representing Christ in every aspect of life as written in Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We can say that the true identity of the true Ekklesia provokes both revival and resistance. In Acts 17:6, the early church was accused of turning the world upside down. The true church should compel transformation, not through forced power but through the Spirit-empowered witness of the body of Christ, a sanctified people as written in Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and onto the uttermost part of the earth. Therefore, the true ekklesia is not minor to history, it is central to God's redemptive mission on earth, serving as both a sign and instrument of the Kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven found in Matthew 6:10.

Yes, Ms. Hope we the true church should reflect Chirst and not ourselves. Sometimes the best way to help our brothers and sisters is to simply meet them where they are. As long as we the chosen ones allow Holy Spirit to speak and not we ourselves we will continue to do the work of our Father.

Very powerful Hope! The spiritual authority we still have is undeniable. We are seeing so many revivals around the world today even in the face of opposition and persecution much like the early church. In Joel 2:28 it says, and it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. There is a rising of up of the saints and God is raising up prophets that have been kept hidden and moving some out of positions they have held a long time. The Lord is doing a new thing with his remnant because things are accelerating and we are getting closer to the second coming of Christ. This is a time to know and study his word and rejoice in what he is doing.

You're spot on Hope! We should reflect the Kingdom of God on earth. Because we have been given keys to the Kingdom, we have been given authority to bind and loose, declare and decree. As Kingdom citizens our function is that of our King. He is the only one who has supreme reign. When we obey Him. we will act, talk, walk and look just like Him in the earth. Matthew 6:33 says that we should seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven and all these things will be added unto us. The Kingdom of God represents both a present reality and a future hope, emphasizing God's sovereignty and the call for believers to live according to His will.
