COURSE 2 -STAGES OF GROWTH » What is the biggest obstacle to the Transformation process for believers?
I also struggled with many obstacles during my spiritual development. The biggest obstacle transformation to me would be dealing with the flesh-sinful nature. When a person becomes a Christian the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of them, but the old flesh does not immediately leaves. Romans 8:8-9 they that are in flesh cannot please God. A person not in the flesh, but in the spirit so if it be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. I always struggled with distractions from worldly situations.Romans 8:8-9 explains the constant war between to fully please God and the flesh. In which the demands and distractions of daily life can easily consume time and energy making it hard to dedicate my focus on my path to spiritual growth.I have prayed about my spiritual transformation and continue to as of today. Romans 8:6 carnally minded is death, spiritually minded is life and peace.

It truly does war against the spirit. one of my favorite scriptures is 1 Cor 9:27 but I keep under my body and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. This scripture is helping me in my own personal transformation process
