I love that you said it's an relational experience with God that enables transformative understanding. I agree many times alot of people even some theologians try to decode many things and they only get so far because they lack relationship. Matth11:25 talk about how some things are hidden from the wise and prudent ( in their own eyes) and revealed it to babes.
