COURSE 27 - MINISTRY ETHICS & ETIQUETTE » Ethical hinderance in the church

Tawanna Taborn
I believe major ethical hinderance in the church is
Many ministries prioritize fame and brand verse spiritual integrity. Sometimes its more of culture than serving with humility and church mimic world or celebrity rather than servanthood.
Avoid addressing sin so they compromise the moral standard of Christ out of fear of membership. However, I also believe that those ethical hindrance can be tackled with the word of God. Romans 12:2 says and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Amen Tawanna I agree completely and love the scripture reference of Romans 12:2! Yes there is an issue with some ministers wanting to be a celebrity and ungodly influence. We serve a jealous God and he will have not other gods before him. In Proverbs 23:7a it says for as he thinks in his heart, so is he. God has called ministers (really all of us) to a higher place.
