Ministry of the Apostle » Apostleship Connection

Kristy Hammond
I think this is a very reflective question. If I am honest, I think I connect with them both just because of my personality, line of work, and social environments. If I must choose one, I would select Apostleship to the Gentiles. I think your life can speak volumes before any words leave your mouth. I think in this day and age people want both authenticity and hope. Jesus gives us the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 to make disciples of all nations, reaching out to the unsaved and lost. We must be bold in our approach and present Jesus to all, meeting people where they are. I work in a Christian school, but all families I encounter are not Christian. Before I ever get the opportunity to share Jesus I must be approachable and relatable. I Corinthians 9:22 speaks of this when it says To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Everyone deserves a chance to encounter God and some may do that simply being in your presence and encountering you. The Bible tells us to always be ready to give an account of our hope (I Peter 3:15).

Kristy, I agree that we should walk in what we believe, and our lives should be a reflection of what we speak. And God gave us a mission to go out and spread the gospel. I like how Romans 12:9 says Let love be without hypocrisy, abhor what is evil cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.
