Ministry of the Apostle » The Apostleship I connect with.

When I think about the two Apostleship's I would say that I can see myself being able to connect with both sharing Gods word. Peter was able to connect to both gentiles and the Jews, in Acts he was in Jerusalem he was sharing the gospel to the Jews. Acts 2:21 and it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved. Then his journey sent him by Caesarea with Cornelius and in that time, he was able to connect with gentiles Acts 10:44-46 shares While Peter was still speaking these words the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word of God. And those of the cumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify the God.

1 commentsTawanna, I agree with the Apostleship of the Gentiles, but the Jews can pose a challenge for me. The Jews were the main ones that rejected Jesus. They were constantly questioning him, not really wanting to know him, but trying to find ways to trip him up. Many times Jesus could not perform miracles among the Jews because of their belief. They only followed Christ for the fish and the loaves. Their hearts were hardened, even though they called him Lord, they still didn't really want him. Sadly, today some religious people in the church do the same thing. Some are unteachable, like the Pharisees and Sadducees, they refuse to hear the truth because they feel they already know. The bible says in Matthew 5:20, For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
