Ministry of the Apostle » The Apostleship I connect the most with.

The Apostleship to the Gentiles is the one I mostly connect to. These are the non-believers that we have to teach and preach repentance to. Apostle Paul's journey started a little rough because of his pass life of killing Christians. I have a similar story although I didn't physically kill anyone, but with my words tearing down others character and their mission to preach. To people in my circle that women were wrong and out of place for preaching and pastoring. The same calling to teach, preach, and pastor the word of God, is now calling on my life. Yes, I repented and had to go back to the same people and tell them I was wrong, I repented to God and asked for their forgiveness for my ignorance, and I had to show in scripture evident of women delivering the word of God. The scripture in Acts 2:17-18 explains God will pour out his Spirit on all flesh, sons and daughters shall prophesy. I identify with the scripture that says, Luke 5:31-32 Jesus was talking and said, I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

2 commentsThank you Sandra so much for your transparency and we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Paul's act of repentance, although not the first, is a true testament of how God can change our lives and turn it upside down. I'm grateful that my sins have been forgiven as I strive everyday to be more like Christ.

Ms. Sandra thank you for sharing the attributes of the apostleship you connect with the most. It makes your response more meaningful when you share past experiences and reflections of who you used to be but praise God , who you are now! You are so right that our words can tear down a person or build them up. hat His daughters shall prophesy. The example you used was so relatable because I believe we can all say are words have gotten in the way of God using us to our fullest potential (in any area He has called or gifted us). I can also relate to the hurdles I have had to jump over being a woman in the ministry. Amen and amen to the scripture reference of Acts 2:17-18 that talks about God pouring out HIs Spirit upon ALL Flesh, in which He specified on HIs sons and daughters. God did not leave us out! Ms. Sandra you are able to reach people where they are spiritually because the Holy Spirit is with you! Thank you for your service in building the Kingdom of God by teaching, preaching and sheparding the body of Christ .
