Ministry of the Apostle » Which Apostleship do I connect with most?

The Apostleship I connect with most is the Apostleship to the Gentiles. Paul, like Jesus was sent to the lost sheep. Paul's Apostleship was not easy. He went through many hardships to minister to the Gentiles; however, He was most effective. Many times the enemy tried to block, stop and hinder him but he kept on doing the work of Christ. His effectiveness in continuing to establish churches, build, lay the foundation and put things in order is just a testament that he was truly sent by God and was ordained to do the work. Acts 9: 5 says, But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.
I also connect most with the Apostleship of the Gentiles because like Paul, I was once lost in sin as well. Paul was chosen to be the Apostle to the Gentiles to show that salvation is offered to all people. God is no respect a person, He loves us all and His plan was to graft the Gentiles in. Ephesians 3: 6 says that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel. It was all in God's wonderful, perfect plan to do this. He made no one for hell, but designed all those who believe in him to live with him in glory. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

4 commentsPaula what you shared was right on point, we are all sinners saved by grace. Saul (Paul) also is a great example of someone who persecuted Christians but then repented and turned from his wicked ways. It was a testament to unbelievers of how Jesus can change your life no matter how great the sin.

Vanessa HowellThank you for sharing your reflection and little of your testimony. Like you, I also connect with the Apostleship to the Gentiles. I love how you said that God did not create hell for anyone and that He created us all for a purpose. That is a great example of the love and grace He has towards us. I am grateful that someone shared Christ with me and now I get to do the same. I think we most reflect more and remember that we too were just like those.

Kristy HammondMs. Paula you reminded us, that we too were lost in sin, yet God gave His only Son to save us all! I am thankful that God meets us right where we are when we give, and surrender are whole heart as Paul finally did! I also loved, loved , that you mentioned we were all designed by God which tells me , there are absolutely no mistakes in His design, but it is up to us, to allow the Holy Spirt to reveal to us, who we are and what are purpose is in Christ! Reading the Word, praying and spending time with God daily is our ministry gift compass! We serve a loving God, One who has made us joint heirs in Christ, grafted in the vine because He is the Father of us all and as you so well said , He is no respecter of persons, we all have come to salvation (to the cross) the same way, through repentance. Your response will preach! God bless you this week!

Hope KhalilThis is true Paula; Apostle Paul didn't have an easy mission and with all he went through he didn't stop. There were times they beat him, he got put in prison and so on, but he did not stop that encouraged me. When you know your calling and doubt not that God is with you all the way you would not want to stop, our reward is in our Heavenly home with our Father Yahweh and Elder Brother Yahushua, and I dare not lead out our precious Holy Spirit Ruach Hakodesh.
