COURSE 18 - MINISTRY GIFT OF PASTOR » Lack of the administration of the Pastor in the local church

Tawanna Taborn
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. Teaching and sound doctrine, pastors are responsible for teaching the Word of God and ensuring that doctrine remains sound. Without fulfilling that role church may lack solid biblical teaching and may drift into error or misinterpretation of scripture. Vision and direction without clear vision and direction or leadership the church may lack focus or purpose in its ministry's efforts hindering growth and outreach.
Sandra Lately
This is so true; I believe that the teaching of the word is very important, and it has to be sound doctrine. The scripture in Ephesians 4:12 says; For the perfecting of the saints, for the edifying of the body of Christ, which lets us know that the pastor's role and all the other five-fold ministry leaders must have knowledge and understanding of the word of God. They must be called by God to have the anointing to preach and teach hid word.
