COURSE 19 - MINISTRY GIFT OF TEACHER » The Impact of the Teacher

Kristy Hammond
In John 3:2, when Nicodemus references Jesus as Rabbi this speaks to God’s wisdom and authority, but does not recognize him yet as the Messiah. Matthew 28: 19-20, gives guidance to developing disciples and teaching them the commands. Teachers convey wisdom and knowledge that helps guide both believers and unbelievers toward an understanding. A teacher can be the initial point in the conversion process and can meet individuals where they are. The teacher can stir curiosity and answer questions, while communicating truths about the Kingdom of God. Another role of the teacher is to help spread the gospel, convict, and pierce hearts to help lead to a conversion and transformation. This role can provide both believers and unbelievers an opportunity to seek deeper understanding and have questions and misunderstandings addressed. It opens the door to spiritual growth, engagement, and transformation.
Paula Bingham
Kristy, teachers give balance. Without them rightly dividing the Word of Truth, people can be misguided. There is so many different kinds of doctrine in the world that it can bring about a lot of confusion. Real teachers of the gospel know how us break the Word of God down to it simplest form so that even a child can understand it.Teachers who have the anointing of God can bring about healing, deliverance, insight and revelation when teaching. The scales fall off the eyes of the believer when a teacher is teaching. The bible says us in Proverbs 29:18, without knowledge, the people perish. Teachers bring that knowledge to the believers.

I really like how you talk about the teacher stirring up curiosity to want to seek and learn more about the word of good because it is so true. In Psalms 119:105 says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. His word leads and guides us to all truth.
Tawanna Taborn
Kristy, it is so comforting to know that the teacher will meet you right where you are no need to prepare show up and he is available. Yes, I can see the role of the teacher stirring up curiosity when conveying the truth about Gods word the believer and the unbeliever may have different questions based on their knowledge of understanding, so the teacher who all is knowing would be vital to teach for the cancelling of misinformation. Thanks for this post so good.
