COURSE 15 - GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT » Why are the gifts of the spirit of God necessary for the modern-day church?
I believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit of God is necessary for the modern-day church. Its commission believers to seek God, Matthew 6:33-34 says But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Equips the people of God to service and adopting them to reign. Romans 8:14-17 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. The spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together
