5-2 DEMONOLOGY » Modern Day Church

Temarian Warren
The Life of Jesus showed us the power of his deliverance ministry. He did not compromise. He did not babysit or make evil spirits feel comforted in his presence. He did not sugarcoat what God said. Jesus demonstrated truth and power. Darkness hates him because he was the will of God. He was the perfect example. In my opinion, the modern-day church as whole can do better handling demons. In today's time, many churches (not all) allow or have those that host a demon and to be in major roles functioning within the doors of the church because they know the religion. Sometimes it's due to ignorance or just rebellion. In Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. When those who claim to apart of the body of Christ rejects knowledge and instruction, for example, like regarding towards pride, homosexuality, fraternities, sororities or secrets sins/struggles, they aren't submitted to the Holy Spirit. On the contrary, they are submitted to an evil spirit. I believe majority of the modern church needs deliverance in order to deliver like Jesus did. The church needs to be enlightened. In Ephesian 1:18 it states, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. The body of Christ/ modern day church needs more of Jesus to function correctly and in order.

Minister Temarian,
I agree, the demons are in the leadership roles. The choir a lot of times are full of homosexuals. They keep the demons in leadership because they may be good in their role. A lot of churches are more concerned with performing than deliverance, teaching, and preaching. It is not about the Father's business like Jesus was. It tell us in Luke 2:49, and he said to them, Why were you looking for me? Did you know that I must be in my Father's house? Jesus was not trying impress not one or be in competition. He was trying to tell as many as he could about the goodness of the Father. He was trying to get many converted and get them on the right side. He knew his time on earth was limited so he made use of his time. It tell us in John 9:4, I most work the works of him that sent me, while it is day. the night cometh, when no man can work.
