5-1 DEMONOLOGY » Why Trust Jesus?

Marilyn Keys
Why should a person trust Jesus when they are not sure that the supernatural realm exists?
One statement from the video stands out to me and that statement is simply, it happened by design. The other statement comes from Dr. Charles Stanley. He said, it takes more faith to believe that this world just happened. In the book of John, John 1:1 the word says,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In other words, this Jesus who is the living word of God is God. It happened by design. This world had to be thought of before it came into existence and the word that became flesh and dwelt among us was there in the beginning. He became poor so that we could become rich. It happened by design. How can a person look at themselves and not know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image and likeness of God. He created male and female and, in his word, John 3:16 He loved the world so much he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. At the baptism of Jesus, the Father announced that he is His son in whom he is well pleased. All of this information is wrapped in the scriptures of the book that has encounters by Moses proven by science (division of the red sea). The flood which is proven by science. This Jesus stated that he was in existence before Abraham meaning he has more authority than Abraham. (John 8:58) Moses wrote in the beginning God created. This Jesus our savior is to be trusted because he made us. If you can believe in good and evil and think to yourself that this world had to have a great designer, then you can trust Jesus for all the miracles signs and wonders and our own salvation. Because God the Father deemed him son and the son said when you see him you see the father. It happened by design. He is the only way to my Father. No man comes to the father but by him. It happened by design for us to trust Jesus the way the truth and the light to be reconnected to our maker. Because we did not make ourselves. It is he who has made us not we ourselves.

Elder Keys,
Individuals come up with so many reasons not to believe. A lot of times, they may have experienced some kind of hurt. That hurt could be a loved one dying or another traumatic experience. At this point, they are not opened to the things of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4, states, The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. I can remember speaking to this young lady that daughter was having issues with sleeping. I spoke of Jesus and she told me that she felt sorry for me believing in Jesus and it was so much anger and rage. I told her that I felt sorry that she did not believe. I said to myself, and she wonders why her daughter can not sleep. All I saw was a soul that had been hurt. This is why as Believers, we have to live like the example Jesus left for us. Matthew 5:13, states, Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
