COURSE 14 - SO YOU THINK YOU'RE CALLED » The Call of God

I really appreciate our teachings and the breaking down of the course materials. Just as our courses have been inspired by the Holy Spirit I believe our calling is from God. We learned about the many different ways on how God calls us such as through visions, dreams or the direct voice of God. In Isaiah 6:8-9 Isaiah talks about hearing God's voice during his vision of Him asking who He should send and when Isaiah answered the call, God said Go and provided instruction for him. I am truly in awe of God in how he communicates with us and how He speaks to us internally and also audibly. I also am amazed how Angels of the Lord are used to call us and also encourage us as he did with Gideon in Judges 6:12 and 14. God encouraged Gideon by letting him know was with him, that he was a mighty man of valor and gave instructions to Go. God send him to do his work and carry His message. I am very interested in learning more about my calling and understanding biblically as to walk in God's divine order. I don't ever want to leap out before receiving God's instruction and the anointing to go with it. I believe people can be caught up with titles and positions because of what they think they may receive monetarily, influence or a following. The key thing to remember is about our fruit as we previously discussed, fruit does not lie and a tree not planted on good ground will not yield good fruit. Additionally, there is a price to pay for traveling routes not sanctioned by the Lord.

Thank you for reminding me to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10) and that I need to wait on Him instead of putting the cart before the horse so to speak. I have been so anxious at times to move forward with something instead of waiting for God's total seal of approval and the anointing to be upon that next step! I love that you still desire to learn more about the call you have upon your life as well as learning how to walk in His divine order! As we seek Him more and more, He will reveal it to us through His Word and the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit will always guide you in truth! The Word is truth, and you can be sure that it will be revealed to you! God bless you and the call he has on your life!

Hope KhalilI really like your proof of the call of God. We are learning through our courses everything our discussion questions are talking about; it helps me to dig deeper and makes me go harder for the Lord. I still have a long way to go but I have really had my eyes open through these lessons. God does talk to us in many ways through his word, visions, dreams, and yes sometimes audibly, to get our attention he calls us through circumstances and situations we may be facing, but God brings us through it all. The scripture in John 3:16 says for God so love the world he gave his only begotten son, his love draws us.
