4-2 LIFE OF CHRIST » The names of Christ
I agree, we have to understand who Jesus is. As a believer, when have to know who he is so we will know who we are and our benefits. In John 14:12, states, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. I think this is why some believers have it so hard because they do not know Jesus for themselves. The word, like you mentioned informs us of Jesus deity, and how he walked the earth. The word also informs us that we can make it through what ever is before us. It tell us in John 16:33, These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
