4-2 LIFE OF CHRIST » The Names of Christ

Penny Sprigs-Smith
Jesus is the perfect example for the believer to walk after. Yes, he was God wrapped in human form but did not sin. As he grew up, it shows that he went through everything like we did. He was born, grew up with brothers and sisters and was in a blended family, but Jesus mind stayed on the father even as a child. In Luke 2:42, And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. Jesus grew up knowing what his purpose was and he worked toward it. His life on earth was an example to let us know whatever we walk through we could get through it because Jesus did. It reminds me of the scripture John 16:33 states, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. Jesus was the walking word that became flesh the same way it is for us to the read the word meditate until it becomes alive to us. We know that Jesus came to die and rise on the third day for our sins so we could be reconciled back to God. I also think so he will know first what we are dealing with on the Earth and we could see by his examples how to live this life. It all boils down to the disciples being human like us but went on to do mighty exploits because they walked with Jesus and we can do the same.

Jesus indeed is the perfect example for believers! Jesus overcame the world. As you have mention from John 16:33, it gives us hope that everyone needs to have in their life.
