4-1 LIFE OF CHRIST » The Life of Christ

Marilyn Keys
Why is the humanity of Christ important to Christianity? There was a child born to a virgin called Mary. He would be called Savior of the world. Mary, A vessel to be used by God to carry the King of the Jews. One who comes from the lineage of David. A promise fulfilled in this earth to redeem man back to God. His humanity the living word of God would give us an example of how to live in honor of Father God. A life of obedience better than sacrifice. He would grow in wisdom and stature. He would at the age of 12 speak of his Father's law and state did you not know that I would be about my Father's business. Even as a child he knew his purpose and did not detour away from it. Fully God Fully Man Fully filled with the Holy Ghost without measure. Tempted just as we are. Yet, he did not sin against God the Father. The Prophet Isaiah would speak of him before he was born. A promise fulfilled for generations to verbally and scrabbly communicate the salvation of humanity. His humanity the way, the truth, and the life gave us a way back to the Father. Opened our blinded eyes to see ourselves back into a relationship with the Father. He knows our pain (Hebrews 4:14-15) And the word became flesh and dwelt among us is his humanity. This humanity gave us the word. of God. When everything else is gone his word stands. Heaven and earth will pass away but God's word will remain.

I noticed that you said he knows our pain. That is so true not only do he know it. Jesus walked through it and so much more because he was thinking of us.

Elder Keys,
You mentioned and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. This is how we should be with the scriptures, reading the word until it becomes flesh. it should be so we are so built up on the word until we should be like Romans 4:17, As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. I am talking to myself. Jesus took everything so we would not have to. We have to let the scriptures soak in as we meditate. Joshua 1:8 states, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
