Proverbs 5:5-6 says trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. This is so I won’t become lost in my own will and way. Also, so for wisdom Proverbs 3:21-23 My son, let them not depart from your eyes- keep sound wisdom and discretion; so, they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble.

Tawanna, I agree with you that hearing the voice of God is vital to the believer. Without hearing His voice, we won't know what to do. The bible says in Proverbs 14:12, that there is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof leads to destruction. When we don't get instruction from God, we may be prone to do our own thing and it can lead to a dangerous end.
