I believe all the prayer types are beneficial and needed throughout our lives. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17). To me this means that prayer is just a normal part of life and that we can do it at all times and through all things. I believe prayer of supplication is the most effective because it allows us an opportunity to submit an earnest prayer. This is a prayer that is bold, fervent, and one that we believe will evoke change. James 5:16 says when a believing person prays, great things happen. A prayer of supplication, our earnest prayer brings about power and great results.
