3-2 MINISTRY OF ANGELS » Ministry of Angels

Penny Sprigs-Smith
To my experience, being associated with various churches in different dominations, I can honestly say that they were liking Angels all together. I have been affiliated with COGIC, CME, NON-Domination, and Baptist. I am not being critical, but Angels were not really expound upon. In answering this question, I would have to say release of information. We know in the word it tells us how the Angel visited Philip in Act 8:26 or when an Angel appeared to Hagar in Genesis 16:7 to give them instructions. However, anytime I was given instruction I always credited to the Holy Spirit, but like I was told tonight just know that ii is the instructions from my Father Abba. Which brings me to this scripture in John 13:20, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Penny I can't remember many churches talking about angels much, which causes me to wonder if some preacher or teacher just haven't studied the function of angels in the bible. Angels perform a wide range of functions within the biblical narrative, each with a specific purpose and role. We read in Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? The bible is full of scriptures where God used angels to minister to His people, to protect and deliver messages. This is the very reason we must read the Word of God for ourselves. In Daniel 10:12-14, The prophet Daniel had been praying to God for days, and the Lord sent a messenger angel. The angel gave Daniel - as well as people reading the Bible today - a glimpse of what goes on in the spiritual realm.
