2-2 DIMENSIONS OF THE ANOINTING » Second Dimension

The first dimension of anointing is to become a lover of God's presence and to truly have communion with him. For believers to know him and obey his ways. In 1 John 5:3 it states, for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3. Furthermore, in John 14:15 it states, if you love me, you will keep my commandments. Therefore, true communion with God and lovers of God obeys his voice! But what happens if you did not learn and sustain this dimension but enter into the next? What are the consequences?
One consequence could be that you are more likely to disobey or mishear God. If you cannot maintain the source of glory, you will eventually be disconnected. If your heart is not steady in the way God's desires, you will miss God or be easily attacked. Fellowship with God is key to everything.

Jesus is the cornerstone of what should be our solid foundation. Ephesians 2:20 states Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles & the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.

Kierra BurnettThat first dimension is simply falling in love with Jesus, which makes you want to know him more and obey his commandments. According to 1Cor 1:22 God has anointed us, and set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Now when we enter the second dimension we are fully prepared to do what God has called us to do with power.
