1-3 BOOK OF ACTS » The Book of Acts
Having been informed by Jesus that all authority which was given by the Father is given unto them and then when the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, which was spoken to them in John 20:21-23.
According to Hebrews 13:8; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. As the commission was given to the disciples then it still stands today. We know that we are in the last day and evil days, and these are perilous times and the true Apostles of God are needed to continue to set and keep things in order, preaching, teaching, leading, exhorting, healing, etc., in truth which is through the power of the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus has done and the Apostles exemplified throughout the Book of Acts.

In Ephesians 4:11-13, states And He gave some, apostles, and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. and 1 Corinthians 12:28, And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, government, diversity of tongues.
