Being "Called" or "Chosen" of God has become popular and easily branded for merchandising in this season. In your own words, discuss what you believe is the difference between talent versus the true chosen of God.

Apostles are needed in the times that we are in. The church needs leadership to stand up for the true meaning of the followers of Christ. Matthew 23:8-11 and John 13:13 gives insight on the operations of an apostle is to preach, teach, heal & deliver. Acts 1:22 NLT Peter states from the time he was baptized by John until the day he was taken from us. Whoever is chosen will join us as a witness of Jesus’ resurrection. ‭‭We can all use these tools and build on those things alone. The Apostles are to set foundations for the church. Acts 2:42 AMP They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to eating meals together and to prayers.

Simon the Sorcerer was baptized and had not received the Holy Ghost yet. Here comes Apostle Peter to set order to the situation and confront him about his heart. If his heart was right then he could receive the Holy Ghost with Power. Simon the Sorcerer wanted to be able to lay hands on people and they receive the Holy Ghost. He could not.

Apostles do lay the foundation yet in today's time the leaders want to entertain the world inside the church building instead of laying a true foundation in Christ Jesus. Like Simon the Sorcerer if they could control the Holy Ghost through purchase they would. We have people seeking a title of Apostle without the calling or choosing. This brings more confusion than stability of foundation work.

The church does need leadership. It tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:40 states Let all things be done decently and in order. The leadership is responsible for leading the flock in the things of God. That is all the disciples were doing, laying the foundation. In Acts 1:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. These are the steps in getting us closer to the things of God. Unfortunately, today, we are witnessing some in leadership are taking the people away from the things of God, which is dangerous. Deuteronomy 18:20 states, But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.
