COURSE 3 - SPIRITUAL GROWTH II » How to Strengthen Your Ability to Hear, Communica , and be Led by the Spirit of God
When we are born again (that is our spirit, not our physical being) we are made new on the inside, the spirit. Paul said it best in II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. As these new creatures, we should be led by the spirit! Romans 8:14 (KJV) For as many are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Thus, He communicates to us through the spirit.
In my own experience, there have been times when being still and quiet was the best way for me to hear and feel the spirit of God and other times I have come before Him with praise and thanksgiving. He is always faithful to be right there. In John 14:16-17, the bible tells us that the comforter, the Holy Spirit will abide with us forever and the Spirit of Truth, (which is the Holy Spirit), will be with us as well as dwell within us!
