COURSE 2 -STAGES OF GROWTH » The Key to Growing in the New Kingdom Mindset

Many people have been translated (become saved) into the new kingdom, but still function as if they are in the old kingdom. Why? We can read our Bibles, pray, and even go to church (our work/responsibility) without allowing the key, the Holy Spirit, to move in us and around us (growing into the New Kingdom)! That is a real transformation! We should be open, renew our minds, and pursue transformation as spiritual growth, by seeking the Holy Spirit. When seeking the Holy Spirit, we should do so, with the intent and desire to renew our minds. This is the biggest obstacle of the transformation process for believers, renewal of the mind.
In the book of Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. In other words, we should not be the same as the world and we should let God change the way we think! We naturally resist change and few of us like change, especially the way we think. We must remember that we are a new creature once we become saved (translation stage) old things are passed away, and then all things become new (transformation stage)! This is what God’s Word explains in 2 Corinthians 5:17. My prayer is, Holy Spirit, help us to be more open to what you want us to know, learn, and experience to grow as God has intended, while we are in the transformational stage of our faith journey! In Jesus Name, amen (selah- so be it)

2 commentsHope, I totally agree with you when you said Holy Spirit is key to transforming. The bible says in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things and bring everything back to our remembrance. I don't know what I would do without Holy Spirit; He is my everything. Not only is He my teacher, but He gives me direction, insight, revelation, guidance and correction. Like Saul's transformation to Paul on the Damascus Road, when we allow Holy Spirit to do the work on the inside of us, there will be a total change; we will no longer look, act or talk the same. In addition, we won't even desire the things of the world anymore.

Paula BinghamMany things have been said to be obstacles that challenges believers in the translation to transformation process. I like your statement about allowing Holy Spirit to help us in this transitioning process of translation to transformation. the scripture in John 15:26 says: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. The helper is to guide us into truth and righteousness, even to tell us and teach us about ourselves. We know this is a daily walk with the Lord.
