DISCUSSION FORUM » Talent and Truly Chosen By God

Vanessa Howell
I believe talents refer to an aptitude or ability to do something. Matthew 25:15 talks about the parable of talents ...to each according to his own ability... We are equipped with the ability to do certain things and God can enhance it according to his will to do miraculous things. We see many talented people that seem to do things with ease like speaking eloquently, being a strategic thinker or painting. I believe that being chosen by God means there is a specific purpose that He chose specifically to accomplish something that will impact a part of the body of Christ is a great way. It is something to not only edify the body of Christ but do it in a way where our contributions could be seen a small but collectively it is big for God's vision. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. (James 1:17) We may not live to see the ripple effects of what we are called to but His plans are to prosper us a a body of Christ including generations to come.
