Kristy Hammond
We all have natural talents. Some of us have been graced to be caretakers, nurturers, leaders, entrepreneurs. Natural talents can be cultivated, but when we operate in the flesh we can easily become burdened and overwhelmed by these tasks. It is thus easy to quit and give up. When you are called, although you may feel the same overwhelm, you are operating from a different place. You have a sense of purpose that is God-given and the task becomes easier to bear because you are not operating from self, but as a vessel of God. Romans 11:29, states that For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. You can be chosen today, but replaced tomorrow when dealing with man. You should desire to be chosen by God. Matthew 22:14 says, Many are called, but few are chosen. This chosen does not have to rely on talent because they have the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Your point was well received. It can be easy to quit and give up when you are doing things in the flesh. It can also be very difficult to complete a task when it is being operated out of season. Oftentimes we have to be processed and equipped to handle the task we have been called to do. It takes patience when being processed. The bible says in James 1:4 to et patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Your post was a great read.

You expressed a great point, being talented and chosen share's the same emotional distressed. Because we can sometimes miss God due to our emotions. That is why the bible tells us in Philippians 4-7 be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. (7) and the peace of God, which surpass all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Thanks, I enjoyed your thoughts.
