The greatest challenge is the limited timing of the live sessions. Online learning during live sessions is limited but in person learning gives the opportunity to have more time amongst others to converse back and forth. There is strength in numbers especially in person when it comes to learning. Group assignments would be less challenging in an in person learning setting verses online. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 states Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him.
Online learning can be challenging but it definitely has its rewards. My second most rewarding part of my bible school learning experience is basically being able to learn online. I remember feeling a strong desire to dive deeper into scripture, but I didn't know how I would accomplish it. Then the Lord made sure I saw Dr. Riley's post about the bible school and not only was Shekinah Bible School providing what I needed but they also made it available online which was and still is my only option. I live outside of Memphis, so I am not able to be in person, so I am grateful to be able to attend online. As I mentioned above it's rewarding for me to be able to learn in the comfort of my own home, this benefits me financially because I do not have to pay a babysitter when I am in class. If I could be honest, there have been times that I've cringed at having to do discussion post but in the end, it has been very rewarding to learn from my peers and also see things from a different perspective through our conversations. I have learned so much through the school and through my classmates. I saved the best for last. My number one most rewarding part of my bible school learning experience is being able to learn and fellowship with everyone the Lord has put in place at Shekinah Bible School because throughout all the challenges of online learning, having the right people on your team makes it that much easier. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them, Matthew 18:20.
