Pop-Up Forum » Significance of Angels

Marilyn Betts Robinson
I would like to begin this pop-up discussion with the words of Wow! Wow! Wow! What an anointed Word we have heard through Dr. Lamai and Apostle Dr. Riley.

I was thinking, how many people believe in angels? According to a new AP-NORC poll, about 7 in 10 U.S. adults believe in Angels, and at least two-thirds of the public believes in angels, heaven, and the power of prayer (apnorc.org). Angel in the Hebrew means Messenger and Apostle comes from the Greek word means Apostolos which means Messenger or sent on a mission. They are both Messengers sent on a mission sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. They are both on a mission of Salvation. Angels in the life of a believer is very important because Angels assist in the ministry according to God’s will. Dr Lamai stated angels are given the strength and man is given the authority. Angels excel in strength and are more powerful than man, but God has given man the authority. The angels and man must work together to bring people to salvation. Angels and Christians are very significant and are both needed to bring the world to Jesus Christ. But they must work together to fulfill the God’s will. We will study the different purposes of Angels as outlined in our course worksheet; for God uses his Angels in Communication/Instructions, Protection and Strength, Release from Bondage and Captivity and Assist in Warfare and Execution of God’s Judgement. All of these executions are needed for the church today to war against the prince of the air which rules in the second heaven.

The significance of angels and their greatest assignment to the church today is to minister to those that should be heirs to Christ, Hebrews 1:14 (KJV). We are all born into the world as sinners because of the fall of the first Adam in the garden. As Dr. Lamai stated we are all assigned an angel to guide us to a man or a woman of God that can teach/preach to us about salvation. I’m quoting from Dr. Lamai and Apostle Riley, Angels cannot preach Christ because they do not have the experience of salvation. That’s why the Angels are astonished with man, Dr. Riley quoted Psalms 8:4 (KJV), what is man that God is so mindful of him. Therefore, we as believers, apostles, prophets, bishops, preachers, evangelists and teachers are responsible for telling and communicated the Gospel of Christ to the lost people in the world. We are to tell everyone about Jesus Christ, The Anointed One.

Angels are messengers and so are we which are the Ekklesia’. When God calls us into salvation first and then into ministry and sometimes into full-time ministry. We all have a Ministry. I’m so thankful for Angels and that their second ministry is to help us as Christians and leaders to fulfill our assignments that God has given us. quoted from Dr. Lamai. We as believers must be anointed to speak the Word of God, because Angels will only hearken to the voice of God’s Word (Psalm 103:19-22), therefore we must stay in the first dimension of the anointing (which should never end in a believer’s life) so we can do as Jesus said, I only do what my Father wants me to do and I only say what my Father wants me to say, John 14:31 (KJV) Because what’s so important to remember about Angels, they will only hearken to the voice of God’s Word. Therefore, if you are speaking and declaring God’s Word and then your voice becomes the voice of God, and only then the Angels will respond.

You made so many great points Mrs. Marilyn! I agree that GOD calls us first into salvation, then ministry. As the church we must align ourselves with GOD's will according to the Word of GOD. Once we live by HIS word, angels can freely act on our behalf. In doing this and getting in alignment the church can fully function in the way GOD intended HIS Ekklesia to.
