What do you believe is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking? When I evaluate my faith life, I can sometimes fall short when things don’t happen as fast as I would like them too so I would suggest the same for others. I am always reminded Ecclesiastes 3:1 says to everything is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything in its time. Also, he has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God doe...

2 commentsI believe the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking is in the idea that God is able to do (provide) what His word actually says. Matthew 6:33-34 says, but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things (food, drink, clothing) shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. This is the word of God, yet we do not trust God for our basic needs and we still worry even thou...

2 commentsFaith is the title deed for believers for without it we cannot please God. I believe the greatest area of where faith is lacking is that God can do absolutely anything, that there is nothing that he cant overcome. In Jeremiah 32:27 God asks a very important question, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?. Sometimes we think are problems are so big in our own eyes that there is no way God can handle them. There were some years ago I thought that t...

2 commentsIn my opinion, finance is the greatest area where faith is lacking. It is oftentimes easy to trust God when finances are plenteous; however, when finances are low, it can be very challenging. Our lack of faith becomes apparent when thoughts of not having enough or losing everything invades our minds. That is when we must stand on God's word, continue to meditate on it, and obey in order to get results.
One person in the bible that struggled with believing God for her finances was a wid...

1 commentsBefore sharing my opinion of the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking, I first wanted to research the word faith. The Hebrew name for faith is Pistis from pertho meaning to persuade, to be persuaded, faith, belief. What is Faith according to Gods Word? Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1. The Holmans Dictionary defines faith as Christianity in action. This reminded me of the scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:7 We Walk by faith ...

3 commentsIn reading the lesson for this week, a real good place for me to start I believe, would be the scripture in Hebrews 11:6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Believers have to believe that God is who he says he is and to know his will. To know the word of God and the will of God without doubting, being fearful, and even coming up with your own perception. Believers have to...
