DISCUSSION QUESTION

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

COURSE 20 - MINISTRY GIFT OF EVANGELIST » To do the work of the evangelist

Nefertiti Jones
I belive doing the work of an evangelist means to point and give the glory to christ. It's not just inviting them to church but to the kingdom of God. It's not in just mere words but also in deed. Showing the love, compassion, and the fruits of the spirit..Showing the likeness of Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:22 explains the willingness to adapt to situations to win people to Christ. (not compromising)

I really value how you've framed the work of an evangelist it's refreshing and deeply biblical. You're spot on that true evangelism always points to Christ and gives Him the glory, not to ourselves or even just to a church building. It's an invitation straight into the kingdom of God.

I agree with you,Nefertiti.
We're to go our and win souls for Christ...let our light shine. Acts 13:47 For so the lord has commanded us. I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
