DISCUSSION QUESTION

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

I believe the greatest area which we lack faith in is the timing of God. Believers have some faith, and many know a little word. However, i believe once the faith is applied and the word of God is applied and yet no manifestation due to the timing of God causes their heart to be weary. As the scripture states that hope deferred makes the heart sick. Now doubt begin to set in, fear begin to rise, and anxiety begins to take them over into survival mode. All because we didnt have faith that God was...

I believe, that when it comes to faith and Christians, I believe that dealing with healing is hard for some.. I know that it's easy to believe that someone else will be healed, but it's hard to believe for yourself when you're going through the motions. That's why we have to believe in the words of God and rely on Holy Spirit for comfort. James 1:6 But let him ask in faith nothing wavering. For he that wavered is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James1:3 Knowing this, that...

I find that often times believers have resounding faith in the Miracle Worker when trying to help others through trying times, rather than themselves. When faced with trial, hope dwindles, the mind worries, faith loosens, and so forth. All the foundation and trust proclaimed by mouth is often not found in the heart. We tend to have a why me stance as if our loyalty to God exempts us from hardships in this life. But, let scripture serve as a reminder.

Isaiah 43:2 said that when we passe...

For me one of the greatest areas that believers lack faith in is deliverance and healing of any kind. Often times I think we believe it's easier for God to set someone else free than it is for him to do it in our lives. This is a lie from the enemy, and the Bible debunks this lie clearly by letting us know in Romans 2:11 there is no respect of persons with God. The believer must believe by faith that God will deliver and heal no matter the severity because he's a mighty God and what or who can s...

Little faith- I believe it's hard in the beginning to understand what Faith truly means. We still try to operate with our own understanding vs. leaning to God's word and believing.
Matthew 8:26 And he saithe unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Luke 12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of...

The greatest area amoung believers is were we lack faith is fiancally. Some are so quick to call on there parents and friends, but haven't seeked the Lord about it. The Lord said Philippains 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.'' So he should be the first person you ask and that also teaches us to lean on him, instead of man. Jesus is the creator of us all. He knows what we need and don't want to see us struggling and taking out loan af...

I believe the greatest area among believers where faith is lacking is trust
And equally lacking is exercising our faith

A cowardly Christian seen as living under the spirit of fear. And can lead to silence when one should speak, and stand firm God doesn't a cowardly Christian we're to be Bold for Jesus not afraid of the enemy (James2:26) for as the body without the spirit is dead,so faith without works is dead also

Yes, I believe that Christians sometimes have a problem trusting God and excising their faith. God wants us to trust him no matter the circumstance, no matter what’s going on he wants us to solely rely on him and his words!

I do agree that it's on our nature to seek out others instead of seeking God when trouble comes. But, just as God has instructed us to seek him first and always trust in his will!
