DISCUSSION QUESTION

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

5-1 DEMONOLOGY » Why Trust in God?

Kristy Hammond
This is almost the abstraction of faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Faith is this blind belief that we can trust in what God has said is real. In the video, the speaker says miracles happen and are possible, so we can believe the supernatural exists. He says there is a design, there must be a designer and therefore we can trust God. Jesus’ life had purpose and scripture points to this in John 20:30-31 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples…but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. I trust God simply because of the miracles and blessings that I have seen and experienced whether personally or through others. All I can say is But God! Trusting God brings transformation, peace, and compassion. John 20:29 says, Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

Yes! Kirsty, I believe Faith is key to believe in the supernatural. Hebrews 11:1 helps me to stay on point with dealing with hard things that I trust and wait on God to help me through. The miracles Jesus did before the people was supernatural, also his preaching and teaching causes people to trust in him as well.

I relate to your statement, But God! So many of us have personal experiences where there is no other explanation except God's hand at work. Those moments strengthen our faith and remind us that He is active and present in our lives today. Trusting God is not just about believing facts, it changes how we live. As you said, it brings transformation, peace, and compassion.
