Why should a person trust Jesus when they are not sure that the supernatural realm exists?

Oftentimes when the supernatural is being manifest, many people will question whether its real or not based on the fact that the world we live in teaches that there is a natural reason for everything. This world cannot comprehend what it cannot explain. However, we Jesus was sent to Earth, He came to show the World that there is indeed a real God. In John 14:9-10 when Phillip asked to see the Father, Jesus answered, Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. In verse 10 he went on to say, Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Jesus was 100% man, but he was also 100% God. The works that He did like raising the dead, healing the sick and casting out demons was evidence that God was real.

In order to trust in Jesus, one must read scripture. Romans 10:17 says, Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God! The more we read scripture, the more our eyes become open. And when we do this daily, a relationship develops in where he reveals himself to us all the more. In conclusion, whatever you know intimately, you can easily start to trust.

Amen! Great point. Jesus is the Father, and the Father is Jesus, that's supernatural! This concept is hard to grasp. Everything about Jesus is supernatural from birth to death and it takes faith to believe the supernatural. One God with three divine manifestations is supernatural.

I absolutely agree that we must read the word and our eyes will become open. The key is the person must have a willingness to do just that. Many times people will question the supernatural and want to lean on science but science is not exhaustive, only God know and can reveal what we do not understand. Putting your faith in God, studying his Word and believing that Jesus was born to die for our sins is believing in the supernatural.
