DISCUSSION QUESTION

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

COURSE 10 - PRINCIPLES OF FAITH » What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

Tommy Brown
Little faith- I believe it's hard in the beginning to understand what Faith truly means. We still try to operate with our own understanding vs. leaning to God's word and believing.
Matthew 8:26 And he saithe unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Luke 12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Amen,, Little Faith feels scary, but Jesus didn't ditch the disciples, he shut the storm up (Matt 8:26). Same with us : he clothes grass that burns tomorrow, so he's definitely got my rent (Luke 12:28). Your post reminded me word>worry.

Roman 10:17, 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' Our faith will not grow past our knowledge and understanding of the Word. Faith increases when we are found faithful in the test, exercising the Word during the test.
