Knowing the Hebrew names of God provides Christians today with a deeper appreciation of who God is and how he reveals himself throughout scripture. Every name expresses a unique aspect of God's nature and character, allowing believers to relate to him in a more personal way. such as Jehovah -Jireh means- the Lord will provide (Genesis 22:14) reminding us that God is our faithful provider in every situation. Jehovah- Shalom means- the Lord is peace (Judges 6:24) Showing that true peace can only come from God. I feel like knowing the names of God draws us deeper into worship, enables us to recognize his many dimensions of love, power and faithfulness.
