Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

The anointing comes from God and is to be utilized by instruction from Holy Spirit. It is not something that is of ourselves to use to boast or bring glory to oneself. (Ephesians 2:9) Not having a firm foundation that is rooted in God in the first dimension could be very detrimental. One could miss the opportunity to have the discipline and character development needed to be successful in life and the other dimensions of anointing. With all of the gifting in the world without character and discipline use of the gifts could be mishandled and misguided. In 1 Corinthians 9:27 it tells us, But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. Trying to skip over or side step the first dimension of anointing to showcase could cause God to humble you as could try to gleam the glory that belongs to him. We serve an all consuming jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24
Yes Vanessa we must have a firm foundation in which is rooted in God our Father. Allowing Holy Spirit to lead and guild us will help us build and grow into the person God wants us to be. We must have discipline to build our character.
