DISCUSSION QUESTION

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

DISCUSSION FORUM » Talent Versus the true chosen people of God

Nicole Strickland
Talents are given by God and they are often something that one may get paid to do. A person with talent wont struggle to execute. They are able to do it whenever asked. A chosen person of God is a person that has been purposely set aside the use of God. John 15:16 reads You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation;

I definitely agree with the part about one being set apart for the purpose of God as being chosen because I feel that there must be a certain level of sanctification with a chosen vessel, often time in the Bible I see that the paths of the chosen was definitely different in lifestyle, diet,and what they had to wear. It was many restrictions in some type of way or another
