"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

The difference of being talented and True chosen people of God in my opinion is the talented individual is operating from what they know and born naturally gifted to do. True chosen individuals are operating out of what God has placed within them, Ephesian 4:11 says and he himself gave some to be apostle, some prophets, some evangelist and some pastors and teacher. The true chosen also, has excepted the call God has placed on them. According to Matthew 22:14 Many are called, but few are chosen. That’s how I would describe the difference between being talented verses the true chosen people of God in my own words.
Thank you for sharing a personal testimony of how after saying yes to the call you felt such a peace! The beautiful thing about obeying Him, His will and His call, the Holy Spirit fills us with the strength and the passion to fulfill that call! When we get to that place of surrender in Acts 9 by Saul (then changed to) Paul losing his sight, he gains spiritual perception, he is able to Jesus clearly. There is so much more depth to his conversion on the Damascus Road, but what you experienced is somewhat parallel to his experience. You finally had to see what He wanted to do with your life, if you allowed Him to do so. You said yes to His will/call on your life and then doors, I'm sure opened one after the other! Being mindful of Ephesians 4:11 says He himself gave some to be apostle, some prophets, some evangelist and some pastors and teacher. The chosen are few and they are the chosen of God in which Luke 12:48 states, From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, more will be asked. You are right where God wants you! Be encouraged!
Tawanna thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with your reference in differentiating naturally gifts and being chosen. This makes me think about when I initially went to school to be a Special Education teacher and people would respond with oh, I never could do that or God has definitely called you to that. On the contrary, I was thinking how can I do this, but in due time I begin to understand it was not for me to figure it out. God had called me to do the work and therefore I already had the natural gifting of teaching, it was my place to walk in obedience and just operate in my gifting. But anytime I tried to operate in what I could do (natural talent) alone it was always an epic fail.
