"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6 reveals how faith is so important that it is impossible to please God without it. What would you say is the greatest area, among believers, where faith is lacking?

My perspective of this scripture would be the heart of God is always toward his souls; he has a high expectation for the body of Christ to assist by being his hands and feet in the earth. The father expressed in 2 Peter 3:9 he would that none would perish and because that's one of his greatest desire evangelisms is one of the primary tools needed. In order for man to be reconciled back to him the gospel has to be heard it has to be released into the hearts of man. Everybody wants to prophecy lay...
I belive doing the work of an evangelist means to point and give the glory to christ. It's not just inviting them to church but to the kingdom of God. It's not in just mere words but also in deed. Showing the love, compassion, and the fruits of the spirit..Showing the likeness of Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:22 explains the willingness to adapt to situations to win people to Christ. (not compromising)
I believe the work of an Evangelist is demonstrating reconciliation in the ministry. Demonstrating love and worship to the unbeliever. Working to feed unbelievers the word and show them the way to Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
Evangelist share the good news,It's not to be hidden from hungry souls. The gift of an Evangelist someone who has a God anointed gift...how do you know you have a gift of an Evangelist. There's a heart for the lost,we are all called to share the gospel Philip, preached in Samaria and in various cities places like Antioch,Corinth, and Thessalonica he equipped the church Paul, travel extensively and spread the news 2nd Timothy 4:5 Be watchful in all things endure affliction do the wo...
I feel that the true role of the evangelist, is to win as many souls to Christ as they can. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with long suffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4: Watch thou in all things, endure affections, do the work of the evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. ( KJV)
Timothy 4:5 is a call to action. It's instructing the people of God to go and win the hearts of the dead. Go and pierce the souls of the lost, so that they may find their way back to the Kingdom. The true work of an evangelist is to awaken the sleeping souls, with a message of redemption centered around Christ, not self-doings. Introducing miracles, signs and wonders so that they can grasp the idea and gift of Jesus more acceptably. What I've noticed in this late generation many identify themse...
I believe the true work of and Evangelist is to win souls I also thinks there main goal is to go outside the church because a lot of unbelievers aren't coming to church we gotta go where they at, but being lead by the holy spirit like Psalm 143:10 says teach one to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good spirit lead me on level ground. So be lead by the Lord. Sometimes its not always telling them to come fellowship at your church but telling them about the good works of the Lord like Ma...
I do believe that the work of the evangelist is to show love and bear the fruits of the spirit! I know a lot of people in the 5 fold ministry, often get caught up in the glamour, but forget about their fruit! Some people seem to lose their way and become cocky. God is so amazing because he knows our heart.
I do agree that a person who is called I. The 5 fold ministry, should have a heart for the lost souls! I believe that they should be very compassionate and wear a helmet filled with love as well. Their fruit should be visible, so that others can see the light in them and it will cause them to believe that through the gospel, all things are possible!
