Marian Price
I believe that there is a clear distinction between natural talent and being part of the true chosen people of God. Talent is a gift that can come from birth, training or your environment. But it does not a guarantee relationship with God. The scripture I'm reminded of is ( Matthew 22:14), Many are called, but few are chosen Being chosen by God goes far beyond human ability. The chosen are those who respond in obedience and in faith to his call. We are set apart for his purpose. King Saul was wise and talented, yet he disobey God. (I Samuel 15:26). True chose people have a covenant relationship and divine purpose, not just a simple natural skill.
