Ministry of the Apostle » Apostleship to Gentiles – The Unsaved and Lost
As soon as I transitioned and continued to transform in Christ by the renewing of my mind, the Holy Spirit began to draw me to intercede for the lost by making me aware of man's state without Jesus and how lost they are and might feel. Just the thought of someone not being able to experience the freedom and joy that comes from being saved was overwhelmingly sad to me. Holy Spirit then shifted intercession for the lost to reaching and going to those who were unsaved and lost both near and far/globally. I believe the Holy Spirit planted the desire in my heart as well as a burden for the lost around the age of 11, one year before I was saved. The more I studied the Bible, the more I became aware of the grace, truth, and love of God. I also became more aware of my earthly father's faith, Islam, and how I desired to show him the gift of salvation and that being saved meant repenting of his sins and encouraging him that with the truth, he could be reconciled to God. Having a relationship with Jesus is one of the greatest aspects of being a Christian. That is the difference in serving a resurrected, living God rather than one that is not. As the body of Christ, we must continue to share the gift of salvation and that it is available to all.
