2-2 DIMENSIONS OF THE ANOINTING » The Second Dimension of the Anointing

There are major fallout consequences of a believer that lacks the strength and maintenance of the first dimension. The first dimension is the foundation that is built by spending time with the Father. You learn him and his ways by learning his voice. In John 10:27, But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice. And also, In Psalms 103:7, states He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel. Praying and staying in the word of God until the word becomes flesh (John 1:14). Seeking God for wisdom and revelation of the word. Unfortunately, if the believer abandons or lacks the first foundation they will not be equipped to stay in the role they may have been operating in. Dr. Riley have stated that a person my shoot off like a rocket but will fizzle out, if the foundation is not rooted. God has to prune and train us for the level he is moving us to. John 15:2 states, Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. We have to be careful not to get impatient and abandon the assignment.

Oh, to learn my father's statutes and to lay a true foundational relationship with Him should be the goal of every believer. He spoke face to face with Moses. David the king or I would say the worshipper would ask God not to take his spirit away from him because he wanted to maintain a relationship with God. He wanted to be able to speak to God and hear his voice to gain direction in time of war. David knew that with God on his side he would always have the victory. Asking should I pursue will I win/overtake them. King Saul on the other hand was anointed to be king and instead of having a close relationship with God would disobey God and the anointing of God was lifted from him. He lacked relationship unto obedience and lost his role. To have the anointing lifted off of you for lack of obedience or foundation rooted in the Father through Jesus the Christ that would be a major consequence.
Jesus is our example of obedience and relationship.

Marilyn KeysI do know that I am still learning but the one thing that drives my spirit is the desire to push for a deeper relationship with God. In someways I don’t know what that looks like and in other ways I over think the relationship. What I do know is that if my foundation is good than nothing or no one can ever steer me into another direction.
