One major fallout consequence would be the believer’s strength becomes weakened. Weakened in the heart and mind to a point where the believer does not feel worthy and begin to question why God has chosen them. We as believers must stay founded in God and not drift into the wilderness without being steadfast in our faith. 1Peter 4:12 AMP Beloved, do not be surprised at fiery ordeal which is taking place to test you [that is, to test the quality of your faith], as though something strange or unusual were happening to you. For it is not in our own strength and will to do what is necessary of the Lord. 1Peter 4:16 AMP but if anyone suffers [ill treatment as a Christian [because of his belief] he is not to be ashamed but is to glorify God [because he is considered worthy to suffer] in this name.
